Life After Loss Support Group
We strive to improve lives in our community by providing hope, health, and healing through grief support services.
The death of someone you care about can be followed by a wide range of confusing emotions.
What to Expect:
- Educational topics
- Group discussion
- Speakers and videos
You will learn about the process of healing and recovery, and have the opportunity to share your experience, strength, and hope with others who have also experienced a loss.
Discussion Topics Include:
- Understanding grief
- The emotions that come with loss
- Caring for yourself
- Gaining a new identity
- Changing relationships
- Coping with holidays and special occasions
- Acceptance, growth, and spirituality
Is a Support Group Right for Me?
Grief affects the whole person – physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Meeting with other grieving people can reaffirm that what you are feeling is normal. There is no single solution to dealing with loss. By listening to stories of how others cope with a particular problem, you may find a strategy that works for you. The program will be conducted by trained and experienced staff and volunteers.

Come and learn techniques on how to save the lives of infants, children, and adults in cardiac arrest through high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). The cost is $60.

Memory Café
Memory Café is a program designed to bring together individuals with any form of dementia or memory loss and their care partners. Caregivers will meet with a social worker in a support group environment and the persons living with dementia will engage in meaningful activity. Activities could include arts/crafts, music, movement, reminiscing, and more. This time will be facilitated by trained nursing, social work, and life enrichment staff.

If you or a loved one is two days, two months, or two years away from considering Independent or Assisted Living, this night is for you! Let us help you stay informed so that when the time comes to start the conversation, you’ll know where to begin.
Join us Monday, May 19 at Crown Pointe Estates for an informational night about Independent and Assisted Living. We want you to get the full experience of this place that so many call home. Let’s have fun! Come play pool in the West Branch Social Club, enjoy a few minutes outside on our brand-new patio, and see what life can be like here. We’re even giving away a Still Waters Gifts basket full of goodies to one lucky attendee!
Even if the thought of getting this type of information has never crossed your mind, we’d love to have you be a part of this night. Anyone is welcome!
Tours will be held from 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm, we’ll have a short informational session from 6:30 pm – 7:00 pm, then more time for tours and questions thereafter.

Is your child ready to become a confident and knowledgeable babysitter? This course is designed for young caregivers who want to learn essential skills to care for children safely and responsibly! They’ll learn First Aid & CPR, Choking & Emergency Response, Creating Emergency Plans, Poison Control, Healthy, Nutritious Snack Ideas, Fun, Age-Appropriate Activities, Basic Infant & Child Care
Each babysitter will leave class with a babysitting kit to take home!
Course Details:
Age Requirement: 11 years old and up
Limited to 24 Participants
Cost: $35
Please bring your favorite doll or teddy bear to practice your new skills!
