Sioux Center Health Earns Five-Star CMS Rating for Patient Experience
Sioux Center, Iowa – August 19, 2026 — Sioux Center Health has been recognized among the nation’s top hospitals for patient experience, earning a five-star patient experience rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
The recognition places Sioux Center Health among just 250 hospitals nationwide to receive the highest possible rating for overall hospital experience in the latest CMS patient survey data. Becker’s Hospital Review included Sioux Center Health on its national list of hospitals earning five stars for patient experience.
CMS calculates patient experience star ratings using data from the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey, which captures patients’ perspectives on their recent hospital stays. The latest ratings reflect surveys collected from October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2025. The five-star rating is the highest possible mark on the overall hospital rating measure.
