Sioux Center Health Recognized Among Nation's Top Hospitals for Physician Communication

Sioux Center, Iowa – July 15, 2026 — Sioux Center Health has been recognized by Becker's Hospital Review as one of the nation's 208 Top Hospitals for Physician Communication, earning a prestigious five-star rating based on patient experience data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

The recognition highlights hospitals where patients consistently report exceptional communication with their physicians through the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey. The physician communication rating reflects how well patients feel their physicians listened carefully, explained information clearly, and treated them with courtesy and respect. This year's recognition is based on patient survey data collected between July 2024 and June 2025. Only 208 hospitals nationwide earned the five-star distinction, down from 394 hospitals in the previous reporting period, making the recognition even more selective.
