Sioux Center Health to Celebrate 75th Anniversary with Community Open House
Sioux Center Health invites the community to join its 75th anniversary celebration with a community open house on Thursday, June 25th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in its Town Center.
The open house will feature an interactive demonstration of the hospital’s new da Vinci 5 robotic surgical system. Photo galleries commemorating the history of Sioux Center Health and its continued growth will be on display. Alongside this historical showcase, the celebration will include family-friendly activities and hands-on experiences throughout the event. Complementary appetizers and beverages will be provided on behalf of the award-winning Nutrition Services team.
Sioux Center Health opened its doors as an acute-care facility in 1951 with the goal of serving the Sioux Center community through health ministry. To support the increasing demand for medical services, an OB/ER/LAB addition was opened in 1972, and the medical clinic was constructed in 1991.
Since 1994, the hospital has partnered with Avera, receiving support from their health system of over 300 locations in eastern South Dakota and surrounding states. In 2014, Sioux Center Health opened its current facility and continues serving local communities with comprehensive care through every stage of life.
All are welcome to join us at our facility and experience this historic evening at Sioux Center Health.
