We focus on helping you maintain your abilities and enjoy the best possible quality of life.
Partnership with the Parkinson's Foundation
Our Parkinson’s Program is strengthened by support from the Parkinson’s Foundation, a national organization committed to improving care and advancing research for people living with Parkinson’s disease. The Foundation awarded Sioux Center Health a community grant to enhance local programming — helping expand support groups, exercise offerings, and outreach into surrounding communities. This partnership reflects our shared mission of empowering individuals and enhancing well-being through education, wellness, and connection.
Through collaborative care and community engagement, Sioux Center Health strives to be a trusted partner in your Parkinson’s journey — helping you take control of Parkinson’s and live life well.
We offer personalized one-on-one therapy for individuals living with Parkinson’s, tailored to your unique needs and goals. Our experienced physical, occupational, and speech therapists are specially trained in evidence-based programs like LSVT BIG, LSVT LOUD, and PWR! to help improve movement, communication, and daily function. Together, we’ll create a focused plan to support your strength, confidence, and quality of life.

Did you know that exercise is one of the most important activities someone can do to manage Parkinson’s disease? Research shows that people with Parkinson’s who begin exercising early experience a much slower decline in their quality of life. That’s why we offer a Parkinson’s group exercise class several times a week — designed to keep you moving, motivated, and connected with others on a similar journey.
Our class benefits:
- Exercises specifically designed to address and help control Parkinson’s disease symptoms
- Actions that empower and enhance bigger, faster, and more fluid movements
- Interactive, fun group offers social support
