About Stephanie

Stephanie Van Ruler, PMHNP-BC, brings a deep commitment to compassionate, patient-centered mental health care for individuals, children, and families. With a strong foundation in nursing and over a decade of experience across diverse healthcare settings, Stephanie began providing psychiatric care in 2025, following years of hands-on service in patient care and leadership.

She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from St. Luke’s College in Sioux City in 2007, followed by her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Dordt College in 2008. Throughout her career, Stephanie has worked in a variety of nursing roles, gaining valuable insight into the needs of patients across all stages of life.

Before transitioning into behavioral health, she served as Director of Nursing at Crown Pointe Estates Care Center, where she played a vital role in enhancing care for residents. In her current role at Sioux Center Health, Stephanie provides behavioral health services both in the medical clinic and continues her work with residents at Crown Pointe Estates—offering holistic, accessible care for the community she knows and loves.
