About Dr. Rens

Dr. Rens brings over 30 years of family medicine experience to Sioux Center Health. He is a lifelong resident of Sioux Center and has built lasting relationships with many families in the community. He is committed to providing consistent and reliable care to patients of all ages and continues to welcome new patients into his practice.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Rens is part of the Senior Leadership team at Sioux Center Health. He helps guide key decisions and provides strategic direction for the organization. As Medical Director of the medical staff, he also works closely with physicians and advanced practice providers to support high-quality care across the system.

Dr. Rens lives in Sioux Center with his wife, Karen. They have three adult children and enjoy staying connected to the community they’ve always called home.
