About Dr. Vanden Bosch

Seeing patients in Sioux Center

After 25 years of practicing medicine in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Dr. Vanden Bosch has come full circle—returning to his hometown of Sioux Center to continue serving the community he knows and loves. In addition to providing compassionate patient care, he holds key leadership roles as the Medical Director of Promise Community Health Center and a Commercial Driver License (CDL) examiner.

Patients of Dr. Vanden Bosch often describe him as calm, approachable, and deeply knowledgeable. With decades of medical experience behind him, he brings a steady hand and a thoughtful presence to every appointment. He takes time to offer clear explanations, helping patients feel informed and empowered in their care. His blend of wisdom, compassion, and professionalism creates a reassuring environment where people feel truly listened to and well cared for.

Dr. Vanden Bosch is also deeply rooted in family life. He and his wife are proud parents of two adult daughters and delighted grandparents to four energetic grandchildren who keep them on their toes. Outside the clinic, he enjoys a good book and traveling with his family.
