Dr. Alison Schutt is a Family Medicine Physician with a deep commitment to the health and well-being of families in Northwest Iowa. Originally from nearby Alton, Dr. Schutt is honored to be serving the community she calls home. A graduate of Northwestern College, she is thrilled to return to the region and provide care to patients of all ages.
As part of the OB physician team, Dr. Schutt walks alongside women through pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum care, offering compassionate, individualized support during one of life’s most transformative journeys. Now a new mom herself, she brings a fresh, personal perspective to her OB practice—deepening her empathy and connection with patients navigating motherhood.
Dr. Schutt and her husband, Hans, are enjoying this new season of parenthood together. In her free time, she enjoys reading, working on puzzles, playing board games, biking, and spending time outdoors.
With her strong local ties, clinical expertise, and heartfelt dedication, Dr. Schutt is excited to care for and grow with the community she loves.
