REMINDERS:
- Profiles require a 12-hour fasting period prior. Drinking water is fine.
- After blood is drawn take your medications.
- Wear short sleeves.
- Do not come if you are pregnant or for 6 months afterward.
- No alcohol for 14 hours prior to the test.
- All wellness screenings can be combined by your request.
Sioux Center Health offers inexpensive tests. The costs are kept low because you pay up-front and no insurance will be filed. Prior to your lab test, stop by admissions at the hospital for the proper consent form and to pay. The consent form states the results will be mailed to you upon completion and your physician will not receive any results. It would be your responsibility to report abnormal test results to your physician in order to obtain proper advice and treatment.
