General Surgery

General surgeons perform a variety of surgical and endoscopic procedures at Sioux Center Health. Many of the surgical procedures are performed minimally invasive using advanced laparoscopic surgical techniques.

The clinic is located in the Family Medicine Clinic for patient convenience. This also improves communication between our general surgeons and family medicine providers so that your care is integrated.

• Skin cancer, including melanoma, basal cell cancer, and squamous cell cancer, and benign and malignant subcutaneous lesions
• Abscess drainage

Breast

• Excisional breast biopsy
• Lumpectomy for benign or malignant breast lesions
• Mastectomy
• Lymph node biopsy and dissection
